Log Student Attendance

To log student attendance:

  1. Within the course, select the Manage tab.
  2. Select the Attendance link beneath the Course Management subheading.

    Select the Attendance link.

  3. On the Attendance Manager screen, select today's date (or you may optionally select a different month or year, to change the view of dates to a different month or year).

    Selecting a date displays the screen on which to log student attendance.

  4. Based on the legend displayed, select a status for each student from the Status pull-down menu.

    Note: You can optionally select a default value from the Default pull-down menu to set the default status for all students for the particular date.

  5. Optionally enter a note regarding the student in the Notes field.
  6. Click the Save button.
